I may have to mark this on my calendar for next year – it looks like a great event, and I’ve heard only good things about Adelaide. My fiancé and I are planning a honeymoon in Australia, and this would be a nice romantic weekend in the middle of our visit. We live in an area pretty far removed from wine country: Atlanta, Georgia is known for a lot of things – lots of great sport, new Aquarium, Coke headquarters, CNN -- but wine isn’t really one of them. When I was young, I lived in Arkansas, where there are a couple of small wineries, one of which produces a great Muscadine wine (Wiedkers), but honestly I’ve never really had the opportunity to spend some times in a real wine area. Never even made it to the California regions yet. Of course, as you mention elsewhere, there seem to be plenty of other opportunities for wine tastings, but if this one is held at the same time next year, we will have to try and make it.
