Mount Burrumboot new release picnic

Mount Burrumboot is a newish winery in near Colbinabbin in the Heathcote wine region. They are using Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Tempranillo as well as Shiraz. On Sunday 23rd April they will be holding a picnic on their vineyard for release of the new vintage wines. This winery and region, have had great success with Shiraz, but winemaker Cathy Branson reckons that Petit verdot will really put Heathcote on the map and Maybe even Colbinabbin.
