Gamay a red grape variety in the shadow of Pinot Noir

Gamay is one of those second fiddle wine varieties that have a small fan club but are ignored by most wine drinkers. Although it is an early ripening cool climate variety its distribution in Australia suggests that some people at least believe it to be more versitile.

Hi, I'd like to know where to get help and advice on wine and, in particular, australian white wine. I've joined australian white wine to contact others who may be able to help me. Are there any other sites where I can get such advice?
TIA
